At Diamond Creek Primary School we fully embrace the Victorian Government’s mental health initiative – Be You – as it helps us to foster and support mental health and wellbeing in our students.
Be You is the Australian Government’s National Support for Child and Youth Mental Health Program and was developed as the fusion of many previous, individual, worthwhile programs, focusing on mental health and wellbeing into one national, education-based program.
We incorporate the Be You content framework within the structure of our DC G.E.M.s Program to continually evolve and implement a whole learning community approach to mental health and wellbeing. This enables our school to be the positive, inclusive and resilient place we aim to be – where every student, staff member and family can achieve their best possible mental health.
