The Diamond Kids program is a ‘home-grown’ program written especially by the staff at Diamond Creek Primary School quite specifically for our students.

The Diamond Kids program is a ‘home-grown’ program written especially by the staff at Diamond Creek Primary School quite specifically for our students. The aim of this program is to develop our students’ emotional well-being and emotional intelligence, by providing a weekly focus on a different aspect of each of the schools values (Respect, Cooperation, Persistence, and striving for Excellence) and also looking at other desirable habits such as honesty and being organised.

Our Diamond Kids program aims to provide the students at Diamond Creek Primary School with social and emotional skills to use as situations may arise in day-to-day interactions with others. This has proven to be a very successful proactive and positive approach to emotional intelligence and relationship building.
